We conducted an on-site assessment to evaluate system operation and identify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, consistency and ease of use.

• Identified opportunities to improve source inlet hoses
• Corrected a temporary loss of changeover functionality during the visit
• Identified and addressed minor leaks associated with tightening practices
• Identified opportunities to improve installation consistency, material pairing and mechanical support
  

The Outcome
Several issues were addressed during the visit, while remaining recommendations provided a path for further best-practice improvements. The assessment helped strengthen system reliability and consistency while reducing the potential for future leaks and mechanical issues. 

The Challenge
Verification of installation, operation and configuration of a newly installed grab sample station was requested to identify opportunities to improve environmental suitability, mechanical protection and operator safety.

The Solution
Swagelok conducted a post-installation inspection and identified several opportunities to improve component selection, tubing support, steam outlet positioning and vent-line configuration.

The Results

• Identified inlet valves that were not suited to the expected temperature environment
• Identified steam outlet positioning that could contribute to condensate freezing
• Identified insufficient support of GSM inlet tubing
• Identified an opportunity to improve vent-line configuration
